AC Milan are quietly but decisively building their plans for the summer transfer window, and according to reports emerging from Belgium, Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi has emerged as one of their primary attacking targets for 2026.
The interest is not a recent development, as noted by MilanNews24.
Milan sporting director Igli Tare and CEO Giorgio Furlani have been tracking the young forward for some time, and the situation has now developed to the point where concrete steps have been taken to secure a deal.

Perhaps most significantly, Milan already submitted a formal offer to Tresoldi’s camp during the January window, a move that has given them a clear competitive advantage heading into the summer.
Contacts between the club and the player’s entourage are described as frequent and ongoing, with Milan keen to wrap up an agreement before a potential international bidding war develops.
A key factor working in the Rossoneri’s favour is Tresoldi’s own position. The forward is said to be firmly set on a move to San Siro, with Massimiliano Allegri’s project and the allure of one of Europe’s iconic stadiums having convinced him to place Milan at the top of his wishlist.

Should the deal go through, Tresoldi would be considered a leading candidate to fill the number nine role.
Indeed, a position that could see significant change this summer, with the prospect of a free transfer for Robert Lewandowski still lingering in the background.
