Indeed, the talented forward moved to Stadio Luigi Ferraris last summer but failed to secure regular first-team football.

Therefore, he returned to San Siro this winter, only for Inter to send him to another loan.

Desperate to get his career back on track, Carboni enjoyed a decent start to life at the Estadio Presidente Peron.

However, the young star suffered a severe knee injury toward the end of February,

Indeed, Carboni ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee during a training session.

Despite that setback, Racing chief Diego Milito is keen to extend Carboni’s loan.

As such, he has recently visited his old club’s headquarters to discuss this possibility with Inter president Beppe Marotta.

Carboni’s current loan expires in December, but the Argentines are desperate to secure his stay until the end of 2027.
