Serie A giants Milan are now set to seal the deal for Verona midfielder Filippo Terracciano.
The Verona starlet emerged as a shock target for Milan, who were keen on adding more depth to their side this January amidst a raft of injury issues. It did seem as if Juventus were in the race for Terracciano, but Milan have now all but sealed the deal for the player.
Sky Italia state that the Rossoneri have pretty much agreed everything for the move. Milan’s push has been decisive, despite interest from Juve and even Fiorentina. The figures of the move have also come to the fore.
The fixed fee stands at €5 million, plus bonuses. The last detail that is yet to be defined is the inclusion 10 percent future resale clause for Verona, who would want the inclusion of that in the contract.
Terracciano can play in central midfield and can also operate in the wide midfield and wing-back arreas.
