Milan’s Matteo Gabbia doubtful for Cremonese clash | OneFootball

Serie A side Milan are expected to miss defender Matteo Gabbia for this weekend’s match against Cremonese. 

According to a report by Milannews24, Gabbia completed a set of personalised training separate from the group in today’s preparatory session ahead of Sunday’s match versus Cremonese. The Rossoneri defender strained his flexor during the warm-up for last weekend’s game against Parma. 

Manager Massimiliano Allegri is aiming to respond effectively with a comfortable performance after the defeat to the Ducali. He might have to confirm Fikayo Tomori and Koni De Winter as the central defensive pair for the upcoming match, as Gabbia’s recovery is going much slower than planned. 

Apart from the 26-year-old’s news, the rest of the team hit the gym and underwent athletic exercises with tactical work. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Santiago Gimenez remain out of this contest due to their respective injuries. 

The Rossoneri’s loss to Parma gave a breather to league leaders Inter, who pulled away at the top by ten points.
