What's the first thing you do in the morning?
The first thing I do is set my bed and then brush my teeth.
What's the sound on your alarm clock to wake you up?
Just some normal beeps from my analog clock. I leave my phone downstairs.
What's one song guaranteed to put a smile on your face right now?
Bob Marley’s “One Love.”
Smile with teeth or soft smile?
Smile with teeth.
Electric toothbrush or manual?
I'm electric for sure.
If you could have dinner with any person, dead or alive, who would it be?
It could be Muhammad Ali. It could be Martin Luther King Jr. or Barack Obama.
What would you ask them?
I would ask them, "How does it feel to have the weight of the world on your shoulders?"
What's your favorite childhood memory from growing up in Massachusetts?
I liked the snow days we had. We'd all go to this massive hill down the street and spend the whole day sledding.
What's your favorite sport outside of soccer?
Definitely basketball.
Describe yourself in three words.
Goofy, relaxed and zen.
What's on your workout playlist right now?
A lot of J. Cole.
What made you fall in love with the game when you were younger?
I always looked up to soccer players. My older sister played soccer, so I looked up to her. I also loved running around outside, and soccer gave me a place to do that.
What's the most used app on your phone?
Probably FaceTime.
If you weren't playing soccer right now, what would you be doing?
Maybe I'd be an architect.
What's the best advice anyone's ever given you?
It's the journey, not the destination.
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be?
Probably J. Cole during his trunk sale.
If you could have someone at every one of your matches, who would it be?
All of my daughters.
What does a perfect rest day look like for Miles Robinson?
Wake up late, relax, have a good breakfast, maybe go on a bike ride, listen to some good music, hang out with some friends, watch a movie, and maybe get some stretching in there.
What's one thing you're really passionate about off the field?
Art. I'm passionate about what it can do for communities and society and how it can make people think in different ways.
When you put on the crest, what comes to mind?
Passion. The passion I have for it and the passion the fans have.
What's one word that describes the way you feel about representing your country?
Honor.
What's one thing in your game day routine that's a must-do?
I must get a good night's sleep before the game.
Who's one person who really assisted you on your journey to becoming a professional soccer player?
My best friend, Harry. He's pretty much my brother. He's always been in my corner, helping me out. Whether it was one game 10 years ago or the next one, he's always watching.
When this tournament is over and you look back, what do you hope people say about the way you played and carried yourself?
I hope they'd say I played with integrity and heart.
