Millwall beat Watford 2-0 at Vicarage Road to rise from fifth to fourth in the Championship.

After the restart, the Hornets forced a run of corners, but Femi Azeez broke the deadlock in the 69th minute. Josh Coburn added a late second (81.) from a Camiel Neghli pass to seal it.

Max Crocombe made three saves to preserve the clean sheet as the Hornets pushed. The hosts had 55.9% of the ball and nine attempts, but tested the goalkeeper only three times.

The Lions carried a consistent threat, producing 13 attempts with four on target. Coburn, introduced shortly before his strike, provided the crucial cushion.

Next, the Hornets host Portsmouth. The Lions visit Coventry City.
