Miovski snatches stoppage-time winner as Rangers climb to second | OneFootball

Rangers beat St Mirren 1-0 at Ibrox as Bojan Miovski struck in the first minute of second half stoppage time, lifting the hosts from fourth to second in the Scottish Premiership.

Early on, Jacob Chapman kept St Mirren level, denying Ryan Naderi and Nicolas Raskin as Rangers racked up corners and territory.

After the restart, Ivor Pandur saved from Fraser Taylor and later smothered Nikolas Agrafiotis, with the visitors threatening on counters but lacking a final ball.

Derek McInnes turned to his bench and the change paid off. With four minutes added, Naderi's headed pass found substitute Miovski, who finished from the centre of the box in the first minute of second half stoppage time.

Rangers registered seven efforts on target and delivered 12 corners, their 35 crosses sustaining pressure throughout. St Mirren managed two shots on target and no corners, but their back line stood up to waves of deliveries and made 33 clearances.

St Mirren drop from third to fourth. Next, Rangers host Celtic in the League Cup, while St Mirren host Dundee United.
