Mohamed Bayo has left Lille to join Turkish side Samsunspor, the move completed on Saturday.
According to L'Équipe, Samsunspor are paying a €1.5m fee, with Lille retaining a 25% sell-on clause. The Guinea forward departs with one year left on his contract. Earlier in the week, club president Olivier Létang said the transfer was nearing approval.
Bayo, 28, was signed from Clermont for €14m in summer 2022. He has 29 caps and eight goals for Guinea.
He scored seven times in 47 appearances for Lille, and struggled to secure a regular place after an early disciplinary issue.
He spent the past three seasons on loan, at Le Havre in 2023-2024 with 23 games and five goals, at Royal Antwerp in 2024-2025 with 17 and one, then at Gaziantep FK in 2025-2026 with 32 and 15.
