Moises Caicedo has extended his Chelsea contract to June 2033, continuing the club's long-term squad planning. The club said in a statement that the Ecuador international has been a key figure since arriving.
He joined from Brighton in 2023 for 133 million euros, a Premier League record at the time. He is 24.
After a mixed start, he has become a leading figure in midfield thanks to his work rate, ball recovery and ability to balance the team. This season he is among the most used players and occupies a central role.
Since his arrival nearly three years ago, the defensive midfielder has made 140 appearances for the Blues.
The renewal aligns with Chelsea's policy of tying down young talent on lengthy deals, with Cole Palmer contracted to 2033, Enzo Fernandez to 2032 and Malo Gusto to 2030.
