Monaco predicted XI v Le Havre: Manchester City loanee Mathys Detourbet set for Ligue 1 debut | OneFootball

AS Monaco will begin their Ligue 1 campaign on the road with a trip to Le Havre AC. It’ll be new manager Filipe Luís’s second game in charge of the Principality club. Monaco were in action on Thursday when they defeated Górnik Zabrze (3-2) in the first leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League playoff. 

Luís is already without a host of players at his disposal; Christian Mawissa is suspended, while Jordan Teze, Ansu Fati, and new signing Mattias Abline are injured. Furthermore, Takumi Minamino and Folarin Balogun are set to be rested and were not included in the matchday squad. 

Manchester City loanee Mathys Detourbet should get his second start for Monaco, as should centre-back Sadibou Sané, who arrived this summer from Metz, after both debuted in the Europa Conference League on Thursday. It’ll be a first competitive start in Monaco colours for left-back Flávio Nazinho, who arrived from Cercle Brugge.
