Folarin Balogun and Aleksandr Golovin will both return to the fold as AS Monaco take on OGC Nice in the Derby de la Côte d’Azur on Saturday night.

Balogun hasn’t played since undergoing shoulder surgery back in December after initially suffering a dislocation in October. Golovin, meanwhile, hasn’t played since suffering an adductor injury at the start of February. Both return ahead of the final sprint and could play a part against Nice, although likely only from the bench.

In goal, Philipp Köhn will start ahead of Radoslaw Majecki, as confirmed by Adi Hütter. Vanderson and/or Takumi Minamino could also be rested. Both returned late from international duty. Wilfried Singo could therefore play at right-back, whilst Eliesse Ben Seghir could play on the left of the midfield.

Monaco likely line-up v OGC Nice

Philipp Köhn; Caio Henrique, Christian Mawissa, Thilo Kehrer, Wilfried Singo; Eliesse Ben Seghir, Denis Zakaria, Lamine Camara, Maghnes Akliouche; Breel Embolo, Mika Biereth.
