Monaco pushing to sign VfB Stuttgart target Nazinho | OneFootball

AS Monaco are pushing to sign Cercle Brugge defender Nazinho (22), as per a report from Florian Plettenberg. 

Monaco may be in the market for a left-back this summer. There is set to be significant squad turnover this summer at the Principality club and one player guaranteed to leave is Krépin Diatta, whose contract is up at the end of the season. That deal will not be renewed. He has been used as a rotation option on the left of the Monaco defence. 

Looking to strengthen in this position, the Principality club have set their sights on Portugal youth international Nazinho. The full-back played 32 times for Cercle Brugge this season, scoring three goals and registering eight assists. 

The Belgian Pro League side share the same owners as Les Monégasques, which, naturally, would help facilitate a deal, despite interest from Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart. Monaco lead the race for Nazinho, Plettenberg understands.
