Folarin Balogun has grown in stature at Monaco in recent months after two underwhelming seasons and is attracting Premier League interest.

L’Équipe reports that those clubs are following the 24-year-old closely and that he could now be set for a departure.

His first year brought a battle for minutes with then captain Wissam Ben Yedder, and the USMNT forward struggled to nail down a starting spot.

After Ben Yedder left the next summer, Balogun was expected to fill the void, but injuries stalled him. When he returned late in the season, Mika Biereth’s form kept him out.

Third time has been kinder. Balogun has 15 goals and five assists in 36 games in all competitions and has evolved into a more rounded forward, increasingly useful in build-up.
