Monza winger Andrea Colpani is now nearing a move to Serie A side Fiorentina, with the transfer slowly gaining progress.
Colpani has been linked with a La Viola move for many weeks now and La Gazzetta dello Sport state that there is a small gap in valuation between Monza and Fiorentina and it is expected to be bridged by the weekend. There have been some small pauses and Fiorentina drew up strategies to pull through.
A decisive meeting between the two parties could take place between Monday and Tuesday and that could seal the move, with the Italian edging close to the move. Fiorentina’s goal is to sign Colpani on an initial loan deal with the obligation to buy him permanently.
Fiorentina’s squad will fly to England next week but the people in-charge of their transfers will stay in Italy to negotiate moves, as they look to make sure that Raffaele Palladino is reunited with Colpani. The obligation to buy could be fixed at €15 million next summer.
Sandri Lovric is also a key target for the Florence club, but there is still work to be done for an agreement to be close. The feeling is that a fee of €10 million could seal the move.
