There are more and more interested parties for one of FC Bayern’s farewell candidates, with the record champions holding out the prospect of a handsome transfer fee
There are growing signs at FC Bayern that Sacha Boey could become a candidate for sale in the winter. The right-back is currently only playing a minor role under Vincent Kompany – and is therefore increasingly becoming the focus of several international clubs. A departure in January could bring the Munich club a significant income
According to information from transfer expert Ekrem Konur, Bayern are demanding around €20 million for the 25-year-old. Crystal Palace are still considered to be interested but, according to Konur, have so far shied away from the asking price. Nevertheless, there seems to be movement in the market – and from the record champions‘ point of view, this is certainly positive
According to Konur, Newcastle United, West Ham United, Juventus, Olympique Lyon, Olympique Marseille and Galatasaray are also keeping a very close eye on the Frenchman’s situation. This means that Boey has a wide range of interested parties, which significantly strengthens Bayern’s negotiating position in the winter

Boey moved to Munich from Galatasaray in January 2024 for around 30 million euros, but was unable to make a lasting impact in the sport. He has only featured sporadically this season and has hardly played a role recently. The club and player are therefore looking at possible scenarios for a transfer
Internally, there is a clear line: a permanent sale is possible, but a loan with an obligation to buy is preferred as a minimum in order to limit the financial loss compared to the original transfer fee. Boey himself is said to be willing to transfer, but only wants to move to a club with clear sporting prospects and has already turned down several inquiries.
