Morgan Boullier will leave Nice after nearly 13 years as the club moves to trim staff amid a reduced budget, according to L'Équipe.

He joined in summer 2013 to work in recruitment under Julien Fournier. The 47-year-old recruitment coordinator has agreed a separation with the club.

Nice intend to streamline roles across sporting and administrative departments while awaiting a sale by Ineos.

At OGCN, Boullier led the creation of the club’s data platform, used by every sporting director, from Fournier to Florian Maurice via Iain Moody and Florent Ghisolfi.

He helped structure the system to sharpen scouting, enabling Nice to identify and sign dozens of players, including the Ivorian Jean-Michaël Seri and the Brazilian Dalbert Henrique.
