Morocco will go head-to-head with Cameroon on Friday, January 9, in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025).

Both teams booked their spots at this stage by overcoming, respectively, Tanzania (1-0) and South Africa (2-1).

The Atlas Lions are aiming for a second AFCON crown, their first since 1976.

Historically, the Moroccan national team has played in four quarter-finals, with a record of three defeats and just one victory.
