Throughout the tournament, I think Morocco was the best team. However, in the final, Senegal was superior. In my view, the Atlas Lions looked exhausted after spending so much energy in their semi-final against Nigeria.

As a reminder, Senegal clinched the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with a narrow victory over Morocco in the final, thanks to a goal scored by Pape Gueye.
