Morton taken off with six minutes left, Fonseca says he was tired

Tyler Morton was withdrawn late on for Lyon, and an injury does not appear to be the issue.

According to Le Progres, he sat down in the 84th minute at the end of a move, prompting Lyon’s medical staff to enter the pitch.

He was then replaced by de Carvalho for the final minutes.

Speaking in his press conference, Paulo Fonseca said the midfielder was tired.

Morton now has a week to rest before the trip to Toulouse.
