Mostafa Mohamed absent from Nantes return, reportedly fined for continued no-show

According to Ouest-France, Mostafa Mohamed has still not reported back to Nantes since training resumed on Wednesday 24 June, and he has reportedly been fined.

The Egyptian striker, 28, has not set foot at La Jonelière since the restart. He scored four Ligue 1 goals last season.

He is said to have been docked pay equivalent to the days missed.

Mohamed has one year left on his Nantes contract, and there are said to be no offers for him so far.

On Tuesday he posted a photo on Instagram with a friend, apparently in Egypt.
