Moueffek set for Cadiz loan as ASSE near agreement | OneFootball

ASSE are closing in on a loan that would send Aïmen Moueffek to Cadiz for the season, according to Le Progres. Talks between the clubs are at an advanced stage.

The 25-year-old, contracted until June 2028, has been in Andalusia since Saturday and his signing is now a matter of time. It comes a few days after Mickaël Nadé's departure, with another academy product set to move.

Born in Isère, Moueffek joined ASSE at 11. This would be his first spell away from the club and a first taste of a different league.

The Franco-Moroccan has made 155 senior appearances in Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and the cups. He had fallen out of the club's plans and has been training separately since the restart.

Cadiz play in Spain's second division, where they finished 18th last season, the final position to stay up.
