Murilo will miss Palmeiras' trip to Grêmio after collecting his third yellow card in Saturday's 2-0 win over São Paulo at Nubank Parque. The fixture is their final outing before the international break.

According to Globo.com, the centre-back was booked on 30 minutes of the second half for a foul on Iago in the attacking half. He will serve an automatic suspension in the Brasileirão's round 28 game.

He was the only one of the players walking a disciplinary tightrope to be cautioned in the Choque-Rei. Luis Pacheco and Flaco López also had two yellows, while Mauricio was not involved because of knee tendinitis.

To offset his absence, Palmeiras will have Barboza back after he served a suspension on Saturday. The Grêmio match is scheduled for Sunday 20 at 11:00 Brasília time at Arena Grêmio.

The derby victory returned Palmeiras to the top of the table on 56 points, with Flamengo on 54. Flamengo play Corinthians at the Maracanã on Sunday.
