Abel Ferreira has had his suspension increased to three matches by the STJD after an appeal hearing on Friday 11. According to Nosso Palestra, the tribunal's Pleno issued the decision.
The Palmeiras head coach will miss Campeonato Brasileiro fixtures against São Paulo, Grêmio and Bahia.

The case stemmed from Friday 4, when he received a two-match ban for kicking a broadcast microphone during Palmeiras v Mirassol after disagreeing with a ruling by referee João Vitor Gobi.
Palmeiras then took the case to the STJD's Pleno seeking a reduction.
Ferreira was cited under Article 258 of the CBJD, which provides for suspensions of one to six matches.
