The Liverpool forward Luis Diaz is the favorite candidate of the Barcelona Sporting Director, Deco, while the new coach,

Another individual who prefers this latter player is the Barcelona legend, Rivaldo, who, according to SPORT, has pleaded with the Blaugrana club to sign the Spanish winger. The Brazilian believed that signing him this summer would be a very good piece of business for his former club:

“For the cost of his release clause and everything he has been doing, I think it is a very reasonable value… He has been outstanding with his performances at Athletic Club this season, and now he’s doing incredibly well with Spain in the EUROS. He has everything it takes to succeed at FC Barcelona; the club must consider him.”

In addition to advocating his signing for FC Barcelona, Rivaldo also defended Nico and Yamal for their celebration after scoring a goal for Spain:

“Scoring a goal is so great and important for every player that, I believe, each one should celebrate it as they want. A dance is not a provocation but a show of joy from the players. Vini and Neymar were criticized for doing these dances.”

“These criticisms always come from rival teams that get upset. But I think we should continue with this joy, and everyone should celebrate as they want, always respecting the opponent. It was great that they did it.”

“They are playing well, scoring goals, and dancing like Brazilian players do. I don’t think there should be criticism, but rather applause for the players who have that personality to celebrate like that after scoring.”

Like Rivaldo, many Barcelona fans will also be looking forward to seeing Nico Williams in their team, especially after having seen his incredible chemistry with Lamine Yamal with the Spanish national team.

But a voice as significant as Rivaldo’s certainly carries a higher weight, and it remains to be seen whether it can influence the Catalan club into going all out for the electrifying winger.
