Germany beat Finland 4-0 on Sunday evening, and Julian Nagelsmann says they will face them again on Monday in a shortened training match. "The players have to play again tomorrow. We are playing Finland again, essentially a training match, but another test for us," he told ZDF.
"Not two times 45 minutes, but two times 20 or two times 25."
"For those who did not play or played less today, to give them some rhythm, because some have not played a match for two weeks. That is why we are very happy that the Finns agreed to this."
"It will take place with a few fans who won the chance to attend. It will be the next task for us, another important test to give all players the necessary playing time."
Nagelsmann and his squad fly to the United States on Tuesday ahead of the World Cup. Germany’s final warm-up is on Saturday, when they face co-hosts the United States.
