Boca Juniors’ interest in bringing Nahitan Nández back remains alive, but his agent has signalled that a return looks difficult amid a renewal offer and strong overseas interest.
"Yesterday we received an offer to renew, the coach is very happy. We will evaluate it," said agent Pablo Bentancur, speaking to Carve Deportiva.
"I think it depends on the club moving for him. Right now I see it as difficult," he added.
"Two clubs from Italy have already called me. And I received a very important offer from Mexico, I did not know they could pay so much," he said.
"He has a love for Boca. For those who do well there, the memories and that passion remain. He is very passionate."
Nández has one year left on his Al-Qadisiya deal, and director general Carlos Antón has tabled a formal extension. The finances abroad far outstrip Argentine football, making a bidding war unlikely. He remains in contact with Juan Román Riquelme, though there is no clear consensus among fans over a return.
