Nantes halted a run of five Ligue 1 defeats with a 2-0 win over Le Havre, reigniting their survival push. According to L'Équipe, Fabien Centonze's influence on the opener proved decisive as Yanis Zouaoui endured a torrid start.
Centonze's cross was turned into his own net by Zouaoui in the third minute. Ali Yousuf then preserved the lead with a goal-line clearance from Fodé Doucouré in the 15th minute, before Sofiane Boufal unsettled Nantes with a slaloming run in the 25th minute. Ignatius Ganago converted a 34th-minute penalty after Lucas Gourna-Douath's hand made contact with El-Arabi's face, a decision that looked harsh but could be given.
The report awarded Centonze seven, with Ali Yousuf and Ganago on six. Boufal scored six for Le Havre, while Zouaoui and Issa Soumaré received three. Lucas Gourna-Douath was given four and Deiver Machado four, with Tabibou on five after coming on at half-time.
It was Ganago's first Ligue 1 goal since June 2023, and he was replaced by Herba Guirassy in the 53rd minute. Boufal and Zouaoui departed in the 63rd minute for Yassine Kechta and Enzo Koffi. Deiver Machado made way at half-time for Tabibou.
Boufal stood out before the interval, yet his influence waned from a deeper left role after the break. Issa Soumaré, so effective in the previous two matches, threatened only fleetingly. The two-goal cushion effectively settled it.
