Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla slammed after Inter Milan’s contentious 3-1 defeat to Napoli on Saturday.
Speaking on his YouTube channel via FCInter1908, Pedulla deemed the famous coach’s behavior ‘unacceptable.’
Indeed, he guided Napoli to their fourth Serie A title in his first season in charge of the club at Inter’s expense.
Furthermore, Conte beat his former club on Saturday, ending their seven-game winning run.
However, an intense clash at the Maradona Stadium had a fair share of controversial moments.
For starters, referee Maurizio Mariani gave Napoli a decisive nudge in the first half with a dubious penalty decision.
Additionally, Conte and Lautaro Martinez engaged in a heated exchange near the touchline as the match drew to a close.
Known for his flamboyant nature, Conte confronted El Toro in front of the cameras.
Unpleasant scenes in Naples have not gone unnoticed, drawing widespread criticism.

“Napoli-Inter stated indisputable facts,” Pedulla said. “The first is that we are in an incredible state of chaos, with a referee who is unable to see actions live and works in delayed mode.
“The VAR analysts have 6-7 different versions, which confirms how impossible it is to understand certain situations.
“Moreover, the penalty is one of those that, very clearly, Rocchi says should not be given.
“Marotta expressed his ideas politely and acknowledged that the result is legitimate.
“I consider Conte a great coach, but he also makes behavioral mistakes. The argument with Lautaro was unacceptable and shouldn’t have happened.
“Then, in interviews, you read the messages, they talk about sending a text…
“But on the field, there must be normal behavior. Both of them were wrong.
“However, the coach is often an educator and cannot fall into these traps.
“Even though both were at fault, it started with Lautaro, and there were previous issues.”

Meanwhile, Pedulla hailed Inter coach Cristian Chivu.
“From this match, we realized we don’t have a clear guiding line,” he continued.
“Every game will be different, referees are often not up to standard, and the best figure was Chivu in the post-match.
“During the game, he made choices he shouldn’t have, but after the match, he gave a great lesson.
“We are the ones who keep discussing things for 48 hours, he said he would never do that.”
Finally, he offered his verdict on Chivu’s in-game management.
“He gave us a valuable lesson. He too could have clung to the incidents.
“I would have liked if someone had asked him about the midfield changes, why he played Zielinski, who I consider technically inadequate, or why Frattesi plays so little.
“The best figure on the pitch was Napoli; off the pitch, it was Chivu.
“he didn’t ride the wave and didn’t look for excuses. I’m not moralizing, but I expect that certain behaviors on the field won’t be repeated.
“On the pitch, you must set an example, and then you can read the text messages.”
