Antonio Conte and Napoli have a new injury concern to contend with, as Serie A’s Player of the Month for October, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, was forced out of training on international duty with Cameroon and could be set for a spell on the sidelines.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.com, Anguissa has picked up an unspecified muscular injury while training with the Cameroon national team.
The training session in question has been described as ‘particularly intense’, as striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was also injured on the same day.

According to Wednesday’s reports, Anguissa has not yet undergone medical examinations, but is expected to do so within the next few hours.
While the full extent of Anguissa’s injury has not yet been concerned, Wednesday’s reports indicate that he is highly likely to miss Cameroon’s upcoming World Cup qualifier against DR Congo on Thursday evening, and is also a concern for Napoli ahead of their Serie A match against Atalanta on November 22.
