Belgian forward Dries Mertens has completed a move to Turkey with Galatasaray, after failing to agree a new contract with Napoli.
The forward spent nine years in Serie A with the Partenopei, during which time he became the club’s highest ever goalscorer with a total of 148 and has made the fifth-highest number of appearances for Napoli with 397.

Mertens joins Lucas Torreira as the second Galatasaray signing of the evening, after the Uruguayan signed on a permanent basis from Arsenal.
