Napoli have reportedly approached AZ Alkmaar for the signing of Jesper Karlsson.
According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli have been following Jesper Karlsson for some time now and have come forward to secure a reinforcement in attack. Contacts are on between the two clubs.
The Partenopei are bracing for an event when a winger should leave and they will have to cover the part to not let any slip-ups during the season.
The Scudetto champions’ scouts were present several times during Karlsson’s games and the player has been in their radar since January. The Swedish winger scored nine goals and registered four assists in the Eredivisie last season and would make a perfect economical signing for the club. In the Conference League, he netted 2 goals and documented four assists in eight total appearances.
Lazio are also interested in bringing the 24-year-old to their team this window but they are yet to establish something concrete in their pursuit.
