Serie A giants Napoli have now sealed a move for Frosinone midfielder Marco Brescianini.
Atalanta were also linked with a move for the Italian, who was seen as a potential replacement for Teun Koopmeiners. But it seems as if Brescianini is heading to another club.
Sky Italia confirm that the club in question is Napoli, who have now all but sealed a move for the midfielder. The deal in question is a free loan, with Napoli having an obligation to buy the player permanently for a fee of €12 million.
The 24-year-old will undergo a Napoli medical tomorrow in Rome and after that, he will sign his contract. The expectation is that Napoli will have him in the club’s squad for the upcoming Serie A game against Verona.
Brescianini played 36 times for Frosinone last season, scoring four times and he also racked up two assists. At club level, he has always been a consistent performer.
