OL have tightened up tactically and shown steady progress since their Prague opener, with momentum building at the Stadium.
According to Le Progres, while the early August trip to the Czech Republic highlighted more flaws than positives, the three matches that followed painted a different picture.
Despite an overhauled side that had barely rehearsed before its Stadium bow, the team quickly fell into step with Paulo Fonseca and his principles.
Periods of combination play and the positional game were still disrupted at times by a lack of automatisms and some individual limits, notably for Ouedraogo, De Carvalho and Duranville.
Even so, several players have re-energised their cases, among them Noah Nartey, while Tanner Tessmann figured in Malick Fofana’s strike at the Stadium, his first in nearly a year.
