NBA MVP reacts to Stephen Eustáquio post: “GOAT”

Stephen Eustáquio, an FC Porto midfielder, secured Canada’s place in the 2026 World Cup round of 32 by scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over South Africa. The moment experienced by the Canadian international did not go unnoticed by several figures from the world of sport, including the NBA MVP.

His compatriot Shai Gilgeous-Alexander commented on the post by the player on loan at Los Angeles FC with a goat emoji, in a reference to GOAT, the English acronym for “Greatest of All Time”.
