Neto Gets 9, James With 8.5 | Chelsea Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Nottingham Forest

Chelsea faced off against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground earlier today as they hoped to secure maximum points on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Josh Acheampong opened the goal-scoring for the West London club in the 49th minute before Pedro Neto doubled Chelsea’s lead just three minutes later. Reece James added another goal in the 84th minute, but Malo Gusto was sent off by the referee just three minutes later. The contest finished with the Blues earning an impressive 3-0 win away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the clash against Nottingham.
He made a couple of solid saves at the back and secured an important clean sheet today.
RB: Reece James – 8.5/10
James was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.
CB: Josh Acheampong – 8/10
He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and did well to score the opener in the 49th minute.
CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 7.5/10
Chalobah put his foot through the ball when needed and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 8/10
He performed his defensive duties well and made one good chance going forward.
CM: Malo Gusto – 5/10
Gusto struggled to get a foothold in the game and let his teammates down by getting sent off late in the game.
CM: Romeo Lavia – 6/10
He struggled to get a foothold in the game in the first half and was substituted at half-time.
RW: Pedro Neto – 9/10
Neto was a constant menace in the final third and ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.
CAM: Andrey Santos – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times in the opponent’s half, but there was no goal for him.
LW: Alejandro Garnacho – 6.5/10
Garnacho made one good run with the ball but was replaced at half-time.
ST: Joao Pedro – 7/10
He caused some headaches for the opposition defenders but failed to register a goal.
