Manchester City’s trip to Arsenal in the Barclays Women’s Super League has a new kick-off time after being selected for live TV coverage in the United Kingdom.

Andrée Jeglertz’s side will still travel to Emirates Stadium on Sunday 8 February, but the fixture will now start at 12:00 (UK) and be shown live on Sky Sports.

The hosts currently sit third in the WSL table heading into the new year having lost just once all season, but that defeat came at the Joie Stadium in October.

City ran out 3-2 winners in a thrilling tie, with Iman Beney’s late effort cancelling out a Chloe Kelly equaliser to earn the Blues all three points.

The Blues had taken a first half lead through a powerful Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw header, with Mariona Caldentey’s strike soon after the restart followed by a close-range Kerstin Casparij effort before that dramatic finish.

Most recently, Arsenal booked their spot in the League Cup semi-finals with a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace.

Andrée Jeglertz’s side, meanwhile, beat West Ham United 5-1 to reach the last four, where we’ll face Chelsea.

Our last visit to North London came on the opening day of the 2024/25 campaign, with the match ending 2-2 after a late equaliser from Beth Mead.
