FC Bayern wants to sell Sacha Boey on this Deadline Day. There have been a few tentative inquiries about the right back recently, but nothing that was truly concrete or lucrative.
There were rumors involving Galatasaray, but that lead has gone cold as of today. Now, however, there has been a new development regarding Boey. According to Matteo Moretto, Fulham has now entered into talks.
The Cottagers had been very interested in Andrei Ratiu, but the transfer of the Romanian fullback has recently stalled significantly. As a result, Fulham has recently shifted its focus.
Earlier this morning, Christoph Freund confirmed at Bayern’s press conference ahead of Wednesday’s cup match against Osnabrück that there could still be some movement regarding Boey.

“In consultation with Vincent and Sacha Boey, we’ve decided that he’ll train on his own for now. The fact is, talks are ongoing, and something could still happen. We’ll see what happens,” Freund explained. The terms of the transfer are currently unclear. It is not yet known whether it will be a loan or a permanent transfer.
During Sky’s live Deadline Day broadcast, reporter Florian Plettenberg also confirmed that there is a possibility of Boey moving to the Premier League. He, too, had recently received information, but no details are available at this time.
Since he no longer plays a major role at FC Bayern and isn’t part of the team’s plans, Boey would be open to a move. Whether FC Fulham fits his expectations remains to be seen. However, it’s becoming clear that the fullback doesn’t have many options at the moment. And speculating that Galatasaray might still get involved would be quite risky.
