Leeds United reported back for pre-season testing at Leeds Beckett University, with new signing Harry Wilson present and Ilia Gruev back from injury.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the club shared a social clip of arrivals seven weeks after their 2025-26 finale at West Ham, featuring Wilson following his free transfer after his Fulham contract expired.

Captain Ethan Ampadu, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach, Joe Rodon, Jayden Bogle, Jaka Bijol, James Justin, Sean Longstaff, Dan James, Willy Gnonto, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Lucas Perri and Alex Cairns were also pictured. They were joined by Bulgarian international midfielder Gruev as he continued his comeback.

Gruev’s season ended early with a meniscus knee injury. He posted a recovery update late last month and had been expected to rejoin for pre-season.

As anticipated, four World Cup players were absent from the footage, Brenden Aaronson, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Noah Okafor and Ao Tanaka. They are due to return at a later date.
