Newcastle United have shown strong interest in Allan Elias, and the link has grown after a report from Bolavip Brasil said that the Magpies want to reach an agreement with Palmeiras as soon as possible.
Allan has come through the ranks at the Brazilian club, and he earned his promotion to the senior squad at the start of 2025, which marked the beginning of consistent progress that turned him into one of their most promising young midfielders.
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old has played 48 matches and scored eight goals, and those numbers show the impact he already makes, even though he has often come off the bench. On top of that, his recent run of form has pushed him closer to a regular starting role under Abel Ferreira, and that change has caught the eye of several major European clubs who see long-term value in his game.

The Magpies see him as a player who can develop with their plans, and they think his preference for operating as a No. 10, along with his ability to drop deeper or drift out wide, gives them a useful option for the seasons ahead.
However, Palmeiras have the advantage because his contract runs until the end of 2029, and they expect any talks to begin at a figure similar to the amount paid for Endrick or Estevão Willian. Other reports have also claimed that Newcastle United are eyeing up a move for James Garner.
Eddie Howe can fit Allan into his plans by giving the youngster a role that grows with each passing week, and he can start by easing him into matches where Newcastle need extra energy in midfield.
Since Allan plays with sharp bursts and keeps moving into pockets that unsettle opponents, Howe can use him as a link option who keeps the ball moving and pushes the team higher up the pitch. Moreover, he can give Allan late-game spells that allow him to learn the pace of Premier League football without carrying too much weight on his shoulders.
Later, Howe can widen his responsibilities by placing him next to a senior midfielder who guides him through tougher fixtures. This mix can help him settle in while still showing his talent. Allan fits the kind of squad Howe wants, and his hunger makes him a smart pick for the long run.
