Looking at these Premier League fixtures on Sunday in this round of matches.
Seeing the other games from a Newcastle United perspective.
Eddie Howe and his players hammering Everton 4-1 yesterday.
That was one of five Premier League fixtures on Saturday.
Now on Sunday, as a Newcastle United fan, have a look at today’s five other Premier League fixtures this weekend and have a think about what you’d like to happen and what is likely in terms of results.
Saturday 29 November
Brentford 3 Burnley 1
Man City 3 Leeds 2
Sunderland 3 Bournemouth 2
Everton 1 Newcastle 4
Spurs 1 Fulham 2
Sunday 30 November
Palace v Man U (12pm)
Villa v Wolves (2.05pm)
Forest v Brighton (2.05pm)
West Ham v Liverpool (2.05pm)
Chelsea v Arsenal (4.30pm)
This is how the table looks on Sunday morning (30 November 2025) before the Sunday Premier League fixtures this weekend are played:
My conclusions and predictions on Sunday’s matches
Palace v Man U (12pm)
Man U have been riding their luck massively this season, in my opinion.
Monday night exposed just how average/poor they are, losing at home to Everton despite having an extra man for 80 minutes.
Palace should win this and the only reason why they might not, is if their European match on Thursday night impacts too much.
Villa v Wolves (2.05pm)
No instant new manager bounce for Wolves as their 2-0 home defeat to Palace made it five PL defeats in a row.
Villa have won six of their last seven PL matches.
Only looks one winner here unless Wolves somehow rouse themselves to better levels due to the ‘derby’ factor and/or Villa are impacted by their Europa League match on Thursday night.
Forest have too many good players to get seriously involved in relegation trouble but still credit to Sean Dyche.
Their last three games seeing them score three in each of them with victories over Leeds, Liverpool and Malmo.
Obviously not the toughest of opposition in these recent games but unless they are impacted by Thursday’s European match, I can’t see Forest losing this one.
Brighton are having a decent season but a bit inconsistent.
This game could be an entertaining draw.
West Ham v Liverpool (2.05pm)
Nuno is getting a bit of a tune out of the Hammers and they have won two and drawn one of their last three PL games.
Arne Slot is in massive trouble and surely defeat today could see him fired.
Liverpool fluked a win over Villa but their six PL defeats in the last seven have seen them conceded 15 goals, at least two in each of the losses.
Losing to West Ham would make it ten defeats in thirteen games for the scousers and nobody would be surprised if this happens.
Chelsea v Arsenal (4.30pm)
Arsenal have won 16 and lost only one of their 19 matches this season, despite rarely looking anything particularly special.
They have the best defence and quality in midfield and in wide positions, though lacking a quality striker through the middle, even when the likes of Gyokeres are fit.
Chelsea are another team that I think have carried serious luck this season.
They are decent but not much better than that for me, just fortunate to have a huge squad which means plenty of options, even though no huge different in quality apart from the odd player.
I think Arsenal win this and will look even more commanding at the top of the table. Cole Palmer could be back for Chelsea but I don’t see that changing the result, even if he plays.
