They report that the Newcastle United number nine has been feeling a muscle tightness.

The Mail saying that their information is that it is not something serious.

However, it will still almost certainly mean that Callum Wilson won’t be risked in any of these next three matches, two against Chelsea and then Arsenal.

Which would then mean Sunday 10 November away at Forest as the next target. There is though a 15 day international break for United after that Forest game, until West Ham at home on Monday 25 November.

As Eddie Howe has been keen to stress, he and his backroom staff desperate to have a situation that when Callum Wilson eventually does return to action, he will be in a position to have the best possible chance of staying fit.
