The Scout's verdict is in for Gameweek 12 of Fantasy Premier League as City travel to Newcastle.
Pep Guardiola’s side travel to St James’ Park on Saturday 22 November, with kick-off scheduled for 17:30 (UK).
The Blues will be searching for our fourth straight win in all competitions when we lock horns with the Magpies - but we’ll have to be at our very best to collect three points this weekend.
Eddie Howe’s side have won each of their last five home games, however they are aiming to bounce back from their away defeat to Brentford in their previous outing.
As ever, City’s meeting with Newcastle is one of 10 Premier League matches this weekend and FPL managers will be keeping across the division in the pursuit of points.
With that in mind, read our latest FPL Scout Report ahead of Saturday 22 November’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.
Nico O’Reilly (£5.0m) looks a great option for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers ahead of Gameweek 12 (GW12).
Over the last six gameweeks no defender has had more shots than O’Reilly’s nine. He is also third amongst defenders for points scored in this period with 38, only Gabriel (£6.6m) and Matheus Nunes (£5.3m) have scored more but they have each started one additional game.
Our Academy graduate has started seven of City’s last eight Premier League matches, the only match he wasn’t in the starting XI for was the defeat to Aston Villa.
When O’Reilly has started in the league City have won six and drawn one of the eight matches and he is currently averaging 7.4 points per start.
Nick Woltemade (£7.4m) is Newcastle’s form player. The striker has returned in five matches since his first start for the club in Gameweek 4.
Elsewhere, Brighton’s Danny Welbeck (£6.5m) and Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah (£5.1m) are low-owned gems who can return points in Gameweek 12.
Welbeck has scored six goals. Of the forwards, only Erling Haaland (£14.9m) and Igor Thiago (£6.3m) have scored more.
Chalobah has registered two goals, an assist, eight defensive contribution points and five clean sheets this season, including three in the last four gameweeks.
