Bayern Munich have won the Bundesliga, and that means their team is getting rotated far more heavily of late.

That’s meant more appearances for Nicolas Jackson, on loan from Chelsea. The German club have confirmed that they’re not going to sign the Senegal star on a permanent deal, but that doesn’t mean he can’t improve his standing with other clubs by doing well in these final games.

Jackson could make sideways move in Premier League

TalkSport today claim that Newcastle. have added the former Villareal man to their list of target for the summer.

It makes sense in some ways – we can see him being an Eddie Howe player, and their big splash on attackers last summer hasn’t worked out at all.

But that’s what the question is – after a heavy outlay on Yoane Wissa and Nick Woltemade, will they be able to pay Chelsea the big money they want for their striker? As one of the few opportunities for us to make a big profit from players on our books, we can’t see a fee lower than €60m being accepted.

In other news…

Romeo Lavia got a start in midfield against Leeds but didn’t make the most of it, at least according to the stats.

Chelsea’s semi final win saw the team raise their game almost universally – but Alejandro Garnacho was the player alongside Lavia who got a poor rating from stats sites.
