Flamengo’s next two training sessions are set to determine whether Bruno Henrique features against Cruzeiro in the Copa Libertadores last-16 second leg. The Rio side beat Mirassol 5-1 on Sunday and have now turned their focus to Wednesday’s decider.

On Monday morning, the forward joined a specific workout for players who did not travel to Mirassol. According to Coluna Do Fla, there is a strong chance he will be available on Wednesday.

Tuesday’s session, scheduled for 16:00 Brasília time, will be decisive for Leonardo Jardim when choosing his squad. Flamengo also have an activation session at 11:00 on matchday.

In the 11th minute of the first leg, Matheus Henrique caught Bruno Henrique on the shin, but referee Yael Falcón showed only a yellow card and VAR did not intervene.

There was no injury, but ankle pain ruled him out of the Mirassol game as he was preserved for the return meeting.

The tie is level after a 1-1 draw at Mineirão, with the return set for 21:30 Brasília time on Wednesday at the Maracanã. The match will be broadcast free-to-air by Rede Globo.
