Brazil forward Neymar faces two to three weeks out with a calf injury, the federation’s doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said, after his surprise inclusion in Carlo Ancelotti’s World Cup squad.

The Santos forward, capped 128 times with 79 goals, missed the Seleção’s first full training session on Thursday morning.

He will not feature in Brazil’s two warm-up matches, against Panama on 31 March and Egypt on 7 June.

He could also miss the World Cup opener against Morocco on 14 June.
