Neymar returns as Santos name their squad for Tuesday’s Copa Sudamericana trip to San Lorenzo at Pedro Bidegain.

Kick-off is at 19:00 on Tuesday 28 in the third round. Diario Do Peixe reports that 27 players have been named, covering three goalkeepers, four centre-backs, four full-backs, eight midfielders and eight forwards, with only 23 permitted on a matchday, so at least four will be omitted.

Goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão is back after missing the last two matches following the death of his father. Willian Arão and Neymar Jr were rested at the weekend and return, while right-back Igor Vinicius and forward Gabriel Barbosa are available after suspension.

Absentees include Zé Rafael with an ankle sprain, Gustavo Henrique with an adductor injury, and Gabriel Menino, who remains in transition with the fitness staff after a hamstring issue.

Goalkeepers: Diógenes, João Pedro and Brazão. Centre-backs: Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres, Adonis Frías and Ananias. Full-backs: Mayke, Igor Vinicius, Escobar and Rafa Gonzaga.

Midfielders: Schmidt, Rincón, Neymar, Arão, Oliva, Miguelito, Bontempo and Rollheiser. Forwards: Robinho Jr, Gabigol, Rony, Thaciano, Lautaro Díaz, Moisés, Mateus Xavier and Barreal.
