RMC Sport are reporting that OGC Nice are closing in on the signing of Juventus full-back Luca Pellegrini (24). Les Aiglons look to have beaten Lazio to the Italian’s signature.

Nice have been in the market for a left-back for over a year. The club ultimately landed Joe Bryan as a stop-gap on loan, but the former Fulham man rarely featured during his spell on the French Riviera. Melvin Bard has often been deployed, but the club have been looking to strengthen in this position.

Multiple names have been considered, but Nice now seem to have found their man. Get French Football News can confirm RMC Sport’s reporting that Pellegrini is closing in on a move to the Allianz Riviera. The Italian full-back spent last season on loan at Lazio, who were keen to keep him. However, he now looks set to sign at Nice.

After a quiet few weeks, Nice’s transfer window has sparked into life in recent hours. The club confirmed the loan signing of Morgan Sanson, whilst Jérémie Boga is also expected to sign in the coming hours.
