OGC Nice will be without three key players as they go into their final match of the season, against Lille OSC. Melvin Bard, Dante and Morgan Sanson will all miss the encounter through injury.
Le Gym had been hoping to challenge Sunday’s opponents Lille for the final UEFA Champions League place. Had they beaten Paris Saint-Germain on Wendesday, the winner of LOSC-OGCN would have finished inside the top four but as it is, Nice are guaranteed to finish fifth, whilst depending on their own result, as well as the result between Stade Brestois and Toulouse FC, Lille could finish third.
It is a match without any ramifications for Nice, meaning that the absences of Bard, Dante and Sanson, all of whom have been pivotal in Francesco Farioli’s side this season, will be inconsequential. Bard is out through suspension, whilst Dante and Sanson are both suffering from knee injuries.
