Het Nieuwsblad have revealed that Anderlecht winger Francis Amuzu would like to leave the club this summer. The 23-year-old, who is eligible for both Belgium and Ghana, was subject to a bid of around €9m from French club Nice last summer. This offer was rejected, but Amuzu did reveal that he was given assurances that if he performed again for Anderlecht over the coming season then he would get his move. The player signed a new contract shortly after, but that would apparently have been to guarantee Anderlecht a decent transfer fee this summer.

The paper is reporting that Nice are one of the sides that remain interested in the winger. Amuzu has scored three league goals and provided five assists in 32 Pro League matches, while in Europe he has two assists in 10 matches.

With Anderlecht likely to miss out on European football again this summer, it is likely that they will see a few of their key players leave. Amuzu is looking set to be one, while star goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen has been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
