OCG Nice striker Gaëtan Laborde (31) is close to signing for Saudi Arabian side Al-Diraiyah FC, according to L’Equipe. The deal will be reportedly worth between €4-5m.

Al-Diraiyah currently play in the second tier of the Saudi football system, the Saudi First Division League.

Laborde began his career at FC Girondins de Bordeaux and had early loan spells at Red Star FC, Stade Brestois 29, and Clermont Foot 63. After permanent stints with Montpellier Hérault SC and Stade Rennais FC, he joined Nice in September 2022. In 118 total appearances for the club, he has scored 33 goals. During the 2024–25 campaign, Laborde scored 11 Ligue 1 goals and registered four assists as the club finished fourth.

Laborde’s departure will be part of a broader shake-up in Nice’s attack ahead of next season. The club have already announced the signing of Isak Jansson, while both Jérémie Boga and Evann Guessand could also leave this summer.
